Biography
Melissa Bright Bey is a 1996 graduate of John L. Leflore High School in Mobile, Alabama, a 2003 graduate of Faulkner University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, and a 2012 graduate of Capella University with a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling.
Today, Ms. Bright Bey is the president of MBB Counseling & Coaching Services, LLC where she works with mental health clients as a License Professional Counselor / LPC.
Ms. Bright Bey is involved in numerous business and civic activities; and a member of Alabama Counseling Association. She is also a Parenting Instructor, and has Military Resilience Training.
She advocates for mental health; and youth in and outside of the juvenile system. She has over ten years of experience working with various populations that include drug treatment, couples counseling, behavioral issue and serious mental health patient monitoring and educational therapy.
